One of the purposes of this new forum system is to enhance the ability for you to tell fans about your team, crew and sponsors, and for LIR Administration to keep you informed. We suggest you use this forum system's features to your advantage. You can do this by doing the following:
1) Click on the "Profile" button above, then on the page that comes up you'll see your "public" information. To modify this information, and to add information about yourself that is not seen by the public (eg. contact information for Laird Administration), click on the "Modify Profile Information" link under "Modify Profile" on the left menu bar. Check off the "Driver" checkbox and fill in your information.
2) Get your status upgraded to "Driver" status on the forums. This will increase your privileges in the forum system and will allow you to post within the "Driver Discussions" forum. Those eligible to be upgraded to "Driver" status are car drivers, crew members, and sponsors. LIR Administration reserves the right to add or remove users from this group at it's discretion. Please note that this is a privilege and as a driver or crewmember you are expected to act accordingly, ie. as if you were in the pits on a race night. Unsportsmanlike conduct by those with "Driver" status will not be tolerated. If you want to be upgraded, complete the profile information as noted in item 1 above, then send a Private Message (PM) to the forum administrator by clicking on the "PM" button on the left. In your message indicate your Forum Username, your real name, position with the team (driver, crew, sponsor), division, car number. We'll review your information and upgrade you to Driver Status if you qualify. Please allow a few days for us to action your request.
3) Once you are upgraded to "Driver" status, we invite you to start a topic in the forum relating to your division. We have set up a separate forum for each division, and only those with 'Driver' status can post in these forums. Each team should have just one 'Topic' within the applicable forum, in which they can post information about their team, including team members, sponsors, family, photos, or whatever is thought that would be of interest to fans.
