As we continue to work to prepare for the 2012 season we would like to hear from YOU!

What would you like to see at Laird this coming summer (special events, intermission promotions, fan interaction)??

If you have an idea please post it here or e-mail gerry@lairdraceway.com.

Thank-you in advance for your co-operation and input.

Everyone seems to be pretty quiet.
That must mean everyone is busy in the garage working on their cars  :)

A big year end special that attracts out of towners would be interesting. The Randy Dewitt Memorial showed immense potential for a few years. But getting a purse big enough that attracts all the locals, let alone the out of towners is easier said than done nowadays.

Any chance you could make Laird more accessible it is very hard for people to watch the races that are in wheelchairs.

Godzilla,
Very good idea. That is presently the premise of the 'Inaugural Northern Ontario Nationals'. With this event I am working with atleast 1 other Ontario facility and 1 Michigan facility to see what co-operation we can gain to make this a yearly, successful event.

Stock38,
Point well taken. It is my hopes we can make LIR the most attractive to ALL fans to enjoy the local racing. If you can elaborate on the difficulties you have faced, and what you think can improve oir accessibility it would be greatly appreciated.

Keep the suggestions coming everyone, I am taking notes.

Events with nothing but non-stop destruction seem to be massive money makers for most race tracks.

^ Stands are packed beyond belief at Wisconsin International. Youtube search Eve of Destruction WIR and you'll get a lot of examples.
